Possie Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration

Thought it was all over? It pretty much has just started! The vibe of Christmas continues and when we mean vibe we mean the good vibration brought about by Christmas. Signifying togetherness and striving towards positiveness is the usual theme surrounding the Christmas Season. Often times you hear from people that the tone or spirit of Christmas is slowly slipping into silence and not just hearing the sounds of carols but also in the viewing of it. Less often than before, you found families coming together to put up Christmas lights, bake cookies and cake, and do some Christmas shopping together but these days, we are seeing less of these things happening. Have we gotten lazy? or is the true meaning of Christmas been depleted so we find it burdensome to put up the Christmas-like signs? All these can be the affects however, Christmas is still Christmas and its spirit lives on because God the Father did send his son, in a manger through the birth of the virgin Mary, to die for you and me so that we could be saved. Now, he lives today making intercession between God and man.
After the Glanvilla Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony, the Portsmouth Council also organized the Possie Tree Lighting Event to continue boast up that Christmas spirit and Christmas celebration amongst the people. This was yet another good move by the council and we at BrBpTV applaud what they have done. Surprisingly enough, at the ending of the event, there was a particular part that got everyone riled up, in a good way of course. This might be shocking to some and hilarious to others but at the same time it was all for the fun of Christmas Cheer and celebration so please, have a look! ;D

Glanvilla Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

Steel Pan music playing, Christmas Season has arrived and the goose is getting fat but in the mean time let's all come together and have a good time in the park nuh? After all, this is what the Christmas Season is truly all about and one thing we can all agree on is that of Togetherness. Organized by the Portsmouth Council; we have been brought to the essence of the Christmas Season through the use of musical instruments, carols  and lights, in the village of Glanvilla.
The usual separation caused by work and daily activities has been pushed aside during this season and everyone is asked to join together to bring forth that Christmas cheer and love. The event was held at the Glanvilla Park, in Portsmouth, and quite a number of persons showed up to be a part of this ceremony. One of the things that Caribbean people pride themselves in, is in music and the use of musical instruments like the steel pan is a definite must. The melodious sounds of the steel pan playing in unison to that of the Christmas carols with a simple touch of God's grace, is the perfect celebration atmosphere in my books. I'm absolutely positive that Jesus was smiling that night! Let the Christmas season activities begin!

Ross Christmas Dinner

At every year end, the Ross University School of Medicine holds this annual event, where both staff, faculty and their family members, get to come together to have a wonderful dinner and time of fun and great tidings around the Christmas Season. This time around, the Christmas Dinner was held in Portsmouth at the Cabrits National Park also known as Fort Shirley. What better way is there to end the year than to end it with as a unit of friends, family and co-workers. This kinds of events show that life isn't all about work and according to Franklyn Moses who recited 'Life is not measured by the number of breathes we take, but by the moments that take our breathe away.' It was a wonderful night filled with laughter and joy brought about by the talented Mr. Franklyn Moses;

and performances, brought about by Michele Henderson and company and the Fanatik Band. Food, fun, comedy, fellowship and a whole lot of dancing. One thing you will see is that Dominicans love dancing with a passion under some good rhythms. It is for this cause Ross showed its appreciation to its members and after it all, it was a very successful evening. Cultural Gala 2011 Celebration

There is therefore no condemnation to those who truly believe in Culture and have the Cultural Spirit. Culture is who we are and it defines us as a unique people. Those who do not respect their own culture ought to be ashamed and out of place because culture brings comfort, character and a place you can share home with. Culture is important to us, as Dominican people, and we represent and go hard everywhere we go. This is the Dominican culture being displayed from our home soil, Dominica, to the rest of the world for the Creole Independence Season. As a climax to the ending of the Creole season, the Nature Isle of the Caribbean brings forth an event called, 'Cultural Gala'. It brings light to what Dominica is and who its people are. Dominica Independence Celebration takes place on the 3rd of November, giving this prestigious island 33 years on its own as a developing and progressing nation. What better way is there to celebrate Dominica's Birthday than through what has made it what it is today, Culture. Culture is the way of life of the people and what you are about to see is the partaking of a unique culture to its fullest capacity. It's all about the people, the colors, dancing, singing and creole music! The preparation for this phenomenal celebration all started with a series of creole competitions with three semi-finals held all across the small but great Caribbean Isle. Those who won the competitions were the best of the best and they performed at the Cultural Gala with the traditional customs. The story-line, the people, their music, colors and their traditions are all part of this grand event and this is what makes Dominica, the Nature Isle of the Caribbean.
Children as young as two and three years of age took part in the sharing and the understanding of their culture, while at the same time gaining first hand experience of the event of the day and of the season. As you will also see the little kids, not only taking part, but are also feeling the cultural spirit and having fun. This of course, says a lot but one thing that is being said here is that traditions will surely be passed on and continued. There is no place like Dominica and its traditions are held sacred amongst its wonderful, friendly and talented people.

Creole in the Park Concert

It is events like these that make culture even the more exciting than what it is already is. Creole in the Park is part of the Creole Season festival activities, which have been organized by LIME previously known as Cable and Wireless. For those who may not know of such a simple yet one of the greatest events to be held in the Caribbean, it is held in the one and only Nature Isle of the Caribbean called Dominica during the Creole Season. It is a full 4 day event that is held at the Botanical Gardens, in Roseau, where a full swing of Creole displays of meals, clothing, music and the creole language is spoken. In the afternoon at around 3:00-4:00pm, there is the celebration of music brought about by both the local and foreign artists, who then end the event at around 7:00pm. It is a time of celebration and fun where both family and friends get to share the joys of the festival season. Thousands upon ten thousands of people came from all over the world to the Nature Isle to share in the experience of this event that is deemed to be one of the biggest shows/events that is held within the entire Caribbean. The last two days were highlighted with Kes the Band from Trinidad (at the bottom) on Wednesday and Bounty Killer from Jamaica on Thursday. In the first segment, Bounty went on stage and put on a great show for the people, as most sang along with him and danced as they related to his lyrics and dynamic flow. He brought that reggae-dancehall feel to the stage and as the episode will show that he was also a favorite for the crowd gathered. Bounty gave the people what they wanted and brought down the curtains on the final day of Creole in the Park 2011 concert with energy, fun and life, leaving yet, with hundreds of more fans.

It is clear to see that Kes the Band rocked out the crowd with his soca and mixed-pop contemporary music, as they shared their music in celebration with the Dominican people. Obviously, the lead singer was one of the ladies favorite and he to also put on a good show for them as well as everyone gathered that night. His music style of Soca originated from his homeland, Trinidad, and the Dominicans knew it all too well. One of the main songs that took flight was Wotless. Everybody was Wotless in fun that night as the jam came into play and a live performance was given. They say if it nice, play it twice. Well, it was so nice, they did it thrice. Dominicans, Australians, English, French, the entire Caribbean and persons from all over the whole world were there that night as the amount of people in the park grew to one hundred thousand strong on the last day. Quite a phenomenal experience and time of fun for all those who were at Creole in the Park 2011 concert.

Creole Cultural Finals in the North Competition

Colors, mixtures, food and a congregation of people dancing is the first set of things that pops into our minds when we hear or see the term, 'Creole'. Well... this usually is the case for the people of the Caribbean, especially in Dominica. For those who do not know what Creole is, let's first define ot, shall we? The term 'Creole' according to the Encarta Encyclopaedia, carries the meaning of a person of mixed European and black descent, especially found in the Caribbean. This too is very factual seeing that it was the Europeans who brought the Africans over to the Caribbean to work as slaves and mingled with the gorgeous African women to create was is known as, Creole meaning mixed. This mixed style reflects in the people's way of life especially during the Creole season where there is the showcasing of different colours in dress, dance styles and when the language is spoken. Creole Season is mixed with a lot of Creole speaking termed, Patois. According to Wikipedia, the creole language is a stable, natural language developed from the mixing of parent languages. Most often, the vocabulary comes from the dominant group and the grammar from the subordinate group, where such stratification exists. Creole(broken french) is a mixture of French and English. Since English is the Dominant language in the Caribbean then broken french is spoken in the accent of Caribbean English.
Now that we have a little understanding of what Creole means, the matter at hand is the use of the Creole Culture as a tradition. It was displayed through the Cultural Finals which took place in one of the Caribbean Islands called Dominica at the Cabrits National Park located in Portsmouth. There were three Cultural finals taking place across Dominica, where different groups from all ages and life walks, competed against each other to see who stood out as the best of the best to take part, in dance, at the Cultural Gala in the Capital. Everyone did their best in the displaying of their heritage through different dances and color variations and for this cause everyone is a winner. This episode, however, is not about competition. BrBpTV became a fan of everyone and therefore sides cannot be taken or shown. This episode was created to shed some light is the cultural festivities of October which engulfed itself around Creole. Pottersville Savannah Bike Show

There are many different aspects in the Caribbean where you will find vast amounts of people. Particularly surrounding music, dancing and parties is a definite number one position, but there is also another aspect that shows a lot of interests by fans far and wide. The atmosphere surrounding this kind of events, brings forth a sense of fun, excitement, thrill and joy to the Caribbean people and they fully participate in the observation of the performance of bikers present. These kind of events are known as Bike Shows and Car Shows. Over the years bikes shows, in the Caribbean, have been bringing in hundreds and even thousands of people to one secluded spot where everyone has a chance to witness the different stunts and skills of their fellow man or woman for that matter. Everyone seems to be grasping the concepts of bikes these days and the purchasing and selling of bikes itself has almost tripled in the last few years. Organizers have now been organizing bike shows due to the fact that it brings in a lot of persons and great returns as well.
It is for this cause that First Domestic Insurance, an insurance company in Dominica brought together the, 'Pottersville Savannah Bike Show'. Collaborating with the french islands surrounding Dominica, the french bikers were brought in to showcase their skills alongside the Dominican bikers as well in the community of Pottersville. This goes shows how well the islands relate to each other and the bond and love that they both share in bikes no matter the differences in the cultures between them. Taking place at the Pottersville Savannah community in Roseau, Dominica we give you Bike Show 2011.

Six Flags Great Adventure

The weather conditions was very conducive to those who love the outdoor activities and surely we could not let this opportunity pass us by. It is specifically during this time where you will find many families and friends join closer to spend more time with each other. Whether it be through the participation of activities like visiting the beach, scuba diving, travelling, partying, playing games, hiking and simply just enjoying a time of fun and happiness, nothing is to limited around this time. It is for this cause Six Flags was brought about.

Everyone wants a chance to do something spectacular, especially during the summer holidays when every avenue seems to be screaming out your name. During the Labour Day weekend celebrations, we were unsure of what we should do. There were so many events going on it was hard to decide but we came up with an idea. Why don't we do something that we have not done for a while. Six Flags came up and we set out to do it. A group of us from Dominica, the Nature Isle of the Caribbean, planned on going to the Adventure Park to have a good time together seeing that we had not seen each other in a long time. Unfortunately, due to some unfortunate mishaps, some of them could not make it but the few of us who were there made it to Six Flags.

We will meet up with the others at another appointed time but, as of right now, the show and fun must begin. It is the fun times during the summer months that we will always cherish knowing that by summer end, a good time had been spent. This summer was 'jampacked' with different events especially during the Labor Day Weekend of 2011 and for this cause Six Flags was an ideal way to kick start it. Youth : Sam Runs for Office Interview

There comes a time when we realize that change is indeed a necessity and not just a want. We all need and want change but in other to make this happen, we must take the steps needed to facilitate change and this is why we are here today. Change can be viewed as a hard thing to come by especially when the norm of a community or country is adamant on the same old system and way of life. Don't get me wrong in terms of moral and principle standings. Our morals and principles should not change but should be used to guide us into the right direction for external changes that are needed in our community. For this to happen, we must first know what we stand for and then putting up the right candidates to bring forth that necessary change.

Why do we need change? How can we change why is it important, you may ask. In this case we need change for betterment. A young individual who goes by the name of Samuel Williams a.k.a Sam the Man, has decided that enough is enough and has chosen to take on the responsibility to go up as an electorate for Town Council elections for the Zicack and Chance ward in Portsmouth, Dominica. Beach Fun Lime

It is another holiday here in Dominica and everybody is heading down to the beach. Yes, can you believe that there are days set a side, here in Dominica, just for people to take a day off or two, to go to the beach? In fact it's called a Beach Day. I have never heard of this kind of thing happening anywhere in the world, aside from the Caribbean, where this happens. Keep in mind I am talking about a time where there isn't a global holiday like the summer holidays. I think this is a good move made out to the Caribbean people whereby more time can be spent with families and friends and I think the developed countries should take note of this and do the same. Reasons because sometimes, we are caught up in our own activity that we don't even notice when a family member or friend is falling behind or is feeling neglected especially when that person feels like they don't have a voice. This type of holiday causes one to catch up with their loved ones and bring back the sense of belonging to each member. Not only that but here in the Caribbean, we pride ourselves in out social experiences. It is always a good and great time when holidays happen. Meeting new people and having a good time is what Caribbean people stand for. If you think I am lying, simply Google 'Caribbean people' and see the results that you get. :D I live in the Caribbean I think I know a thing or two about that.


Here today we have a group that goes by the name of CareBik. This group, an automotive group, aims at creating different events while promoting safety and protection among automotive enthusiasts. Not to long ago, before this club developed, the members lost someone who was very close to them. He was an enthusiast who died by an bike accident and it is for this cause CareBik was developed. They created concern on the matter that safety and protection is important so that a lost like this could not ever happen again.
On the beach day, they created the Beach Lime and it is on this day, they took to the streets to bring entertainment, stunts, food and socialism to those present.  Fun, Socializing, Cars, Bikes, Stunting... this is what you would expect in an event held by this group. Promoting realness and positivity is another step taken by the youth of the community of Portsmouth so continue to support this movement and have a look as to how it went down.

Take Authority Concert

Like that of the Against All Odds and Be Transformed Concerts, the words, 'Take Authority' speaks solely for its self. We have a problem as youth especially in the Caribbean. We often times cry out for change to take place yet we sit down hoping that the older ones will do it. What we really don't realize is the fact that we are the ones who will be taking over the mantle and if we sit idly by waiting for someone else to do the job that we ought to do, then the future will surely be one of a saddened state. The point of duty is now, not later, but at this hour. Let us make that move especially for the Kingdom of God against the forces of darkness. We are called as a people to make change take place and whether we like it or not, change will take place. The difference is will that change be of a positive nature or of a negative nature? According to Martin Luther who said that we must become the change we want to see. We must take on that leadership role and create impact on society.


This Concert was a motivation to persons, especially the youth, to push themselves despite their physical limitations because nothing is impossible. Not only in the physical aspect of life but more importantly, the spiritual. Taking authority means step up to the mantle and taking the leadership role, taking charge and grabbing the necessary steps needed to cause a positive chain reaction. Leaders should arise and become the head runners in whatever they do so that they in turn can affect others to step up and take responsibility. We have often heard that some person were born leaders, well this is not so. No one is born a leader. We must learn the process first and as we get older we make the choice so there it's a choice. The choice is whether we choose to make that bold step or allow someone else to lead us. Press on and take charge for we are the salt of the earth. Be Transformed Gospel Concert

Who are we in this world? Why are here in the first place if we were meant to only live and die? Come to think of it, do we live to die? It would seem so unless there is another way. I really believe that there is more to life than just living and dying. Come on, we are not like the dogs and pigs of this world who live to serve us(think of it). The world in itself has a usual pattern that we have been programmed to follow. From our very birth, we have been taught to do things that would help condition us to be able to make it in this world. We are programmed to go to school, earn degrees and receive a level of education that is comfortable. Then we put into practice this knowledge as we  learn hands on skills that enables us to work in a work environment to gain money to buy what we need and want. We are able to start families, have children, grow old and move on from this life. Of course, I left out other details in between but this is pretty much how the trend goes for each and every human being. If this is what life is all about then life is a routine that we all are doing in different ways. Which makes life, in itself, have absolutely no meaning and I don't want to be a part of this at all. I think this is why there is so much chaos and violence in this world today because a man or woman without purpose will have no respect for their own life and yours as well. So taking another man's life is means nothing to them and this is what shatters my very being! I believe that there is more to life and we have purpose. It is only when we have found purpose we can be transformed. The transformation that I am speaking of is not that of the external but of the internal. We have all been placed on this earth to do something that will cause transformation to take place both externally and internally.  Externally for the world to see and internally for the spirit to connect with the Creator. Transformation that involves change and the renewing of the mind, body and soul. This is where we go into the deeper, philosophical aspect of life and the need for purpose. Many great philosophers have pondered on what our purpose is and have found many reasons based on the external standpoint but only a few have found internal purpose. I as an individual have found my purpose both externally and internally and I feel absolutely complete with myself.


We are here at the ArrBeeDee Cinema bringing to you a concert called, 'Be Transformed'. Why is this concert so important to what I am saying here? It is important because it is through the inspiration of events like these where we able to find our true purpose here on earth.  I found mine but it is only up to you to find who you are and why you have purpose. Right there on stage purpose was found and we could not let this opportunity slip away to let the world know of it. It is all internal and it is a personal thing when we are able to finally connect to our Creator. Have a look at the joy associated with the transformation that I speak off because when a man or woman who find transformation, the entire congregation and heavenly hosts rejoices.

Part 2

In other to change, one has to start with themselves and realize that they need to change. Change starts from within and there change must come from a change in mind set and to do this, one must seek the help of God. No one can change on their own, especially when you have been living a pattern for quite some time but when God steps in,  you can never remain the same again.

In the second part Jasper from Antigua took the stage first then Que from Trinidad, then St .Matthew from Jamaica and in the Finale, Sernel Florent took down the house. Talk about a combination of Caribbean Islands coming together to push the movement of transformation towards that greater good of man kind. Wow!

Against All Odds P1 Concert

Why must we put our fate in the hands of the oppressors? Don't we realize that we, ourselves, are more than conquerors through him that has set us free? Free from our captives, yet we act as if we are slaves to them. Let us not be confused that once we have been set free, we have been set free indeed. Free to do what free people do and that is to live free from bondage. God is the one who sent his son to die on a cross so that we could be set freed but sometimes, the enemy tries to rope us back in by placing different obstacles in front of us. When this happens we become scared and fall a part. This is not the end of the world for God gave us that strength to conquer the unconquerable. The impossible has been made possible through Christ and like Mohammed Ali, the boxer stated, "float like a butterfly sting like a bee." We are the ones that need to be untouchable and unstoppable. Sometimes, we forget that and this is why we are here today at the Against All Odds Concert ministry. This concert was meant to defy every negative thing that would come against us and becoming aware of our new found statuses in the eyes of man and most importantly, the eyes of God. We got a blessing from this concert as it reminded us of God's absolute blessing upon us. As one of the group stated in our own local tongue, "We doh want no sprinkle, We want a dash!" A dash of what? A dash of hope, a dash of positive change, a dash of enlightenment, a dash of love and a dash of unshackling fear in our land. Various groups came together to spread that message in song at this fundraiser and it was a night to remember. Music is indeed a part of our lives and livelihood. When we think of music, we think of the variations in style from different artists who in turn have been formed based on their own experiences and upbringing in life. Culture also plays a huge part in this upbringing and it helps shape the different point of views from persons around the globe. So through music, we get to understand where someone is coming from and why they sing what they sing.
Over the years musicians from the Caribbean have been developing the Caribbean musical industry and although it has not been a walk in the park for most, but it has indeed been getting some great feedback as it continues to develop. Here today on BrBpTV we are in the Benjamin's Park in Portsmouth, Dominica and all that is running through our minds is what should we do today. We have a lot of talented people over the years who have contributed to BrBpTV via music videos, so we set out to seek which music videos had the best responses and messages that carry out the theme of being real and being positive. So we did a survey a video survey and picked out the best of the best music videos so far on BrBpTV and thus this episode was created. The top five music videos shown on BrBpTV. The genres were categories and based on how they related and affected the persons in their niches: cultures, lifestyles, likes and dislikes from all over the globe. DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA ON THE STAGE

Drama? Yes, drama. Do you know that it can be a good thing sometimes! Yes, it surely can. It has many stories behind it for which lessons are taught and messages given can be learnt. Lessons such as life, love, character and belief. Now, we are not speaking of the drama brought about by persons who make it their duty to bring others down or make others feel uncomfortable enough to ignite malice, envy and/or hatred in their hearts. Oh No! We rebuke this one! This episode is about a theatre play that, one way or the other, we all can relate to on a daily basis. The theatre play was brought on by the Dream Team from Roseau, Dominica, who indeed put on a fantastic show. Bringing forth the real issues of the youth that we deem to be unimportant, at the time, only to find out that they could have been avoided if we had taken heed to the warnings and signs. Sometimes, it takes one to learn by mistakes to share the results with others so that they will hopefully listen, understand and take heed. Touring the Nature Isle of the Caribbean - Dominica

Nature is something that can be found all over the Caribbean but none as quite as exuberant and breath taking as the one and only Nature Isle of the Caribbean. The un-tampered mountainous island is known as Dominica. Filled with its luscious rainforests, rugged mountains, emerald rivers, tall waterfalls, hot springs and radiant rainbows everywhere, leaves it filled with its natural essence and beauty. It is said that if Christopher Columbus where to come back to the islands that he discovered, he will remember Dominica because of its gloriously unchanged natural habitat. What better place is there to be than to be in the freest, most relaxing place in the entire world than Dominica? Come to think of it, whether you like Nature or not, just being on the island is a relief in itself. The cool oxygen and the birds singing sweetly in the rainforests, will definitely give you a peace of mind. These truly are the finer things in life.

Exploration is a part of the understanding of the natural habitat and has its advantages to never disappoint. So to all those hikers, rock climbers, and persons who love the outdoors, Dominica is definitely your island paradise of exploration. It is said that the grass is greener on the other side, but in this video it is clear to see that there is no other grass greener and luscious and pure as the Nature Isle of the Caribbean. Taking pride in what it has to offer with friends and family members is also key in making the exploration of Dominica even more the merrier!! The goofier the friends , hehe, the better the adventure to having as marvelous, life changing experience.

Some may say that when you are too deep in something, it is IMPOSSIBLE to come out of it. Is this really true or is this the information that is being stamped into our minds so that change cannot be made? We go through different experiences in life, so that we could tell others our side of the story. Our mistakes, perils, ups and downs, all have lessons that can be learnt. Sometimes, we learn lessons the hard way while others don't have a choice in the matter but to go through it. Circumstances sometimes sticks its ugly head in our way and tries to dictate the path that we should take, instead of the path we need to take. The world is filled with so many corruption that it is almost impossible to find the right thing to do. As I sit and listen to the stories of the individuals presented here today, I try to put myself in their shoes and think what would I have done in their situation. Sometimes, we place judgement on persons who we think can never change but here today we have two individuals who were on that road and defied the odds of no return. A former Porn star and a Prisoner! The key word here is former, meaning in the past. I mean, I am absolute shock and awe to see these individuals on a pulpit, today, giving their testimonies on their lives and what caused a complete change for the better.
The love of money is the route of all evil, yet the world system is catering to the generations and generation to come that getting money is the only thing that is important. The celebrities and the fame that they hold, seems to be glamorous in our eyes and we want what they have and can do anything to get it. This is indeed spoiling our youth and blurring their vision from what's really important- the finer things in life. Most people end up going after things that have very little value and end up in a lot of trouble either in debt, with the law or amongst dangerous people just to get a dime.

Here we have a young woman who had the fame, money and was a fan of celebrities. She however was raised without good role model parents and was ABUSED, NEGLECTED and REJECTED by everyone she came into contact and eventually she got into PORN at the tender age of 18, Danielle Williams.

Youth Vibez on DBS Radio

Often times, across the Caribbean, we find the youths of today are being placed on the backbench or labelled negatively. Why? because most youths of today are considered destructive and up to no good. Based on the facts that present itself, this may seem to hold some truth seeing that most crimes committed, in our communities, are caused by the youth. Make no mistake about this stereotype because not all youths fall into this category and that is the problem that needs to be addressed. I, for sure, am not one of those who fall into this category and there are countless others as well. There are many reasons why the youth take up the notion of negativity because, most times, they are not given the opportunities needed to do otherwise. Keep in mind though that we all have the choice of doing good or bad and it is up to us to make the decision for ourselves given the circumstances that we find ourselves in. However, before the older folks put a damper on the youth, they should seek ways and means that will help foster change to bring about a more productive people.
To those of us who chose to make a difference, despite our resources, we need that help and push to create a better society and also to further impact the lives of other youth. A little encouragement can do a long way to having a positive impact. So instead of generalizing the youth negatively, try to uplift and assist those who are willing to make a positive impact and in turn it will benefit the community. We all know the youth fall under peer pressure so surely encouragement towards the right path goes a long way. Why can't we create positive peer pressure? It is possible. Also, leading by example is key to developing the youth. One cannot preach on doing good and they themselves are doing bad things in society. This do-as-i-say-not-as-i-do mentally needs to stop. There must be a need for proper examples in our societies.
Some of the youth who have decided on their own to push a positive movement, came together on Youth Vibez Radio Station to share their achievements, talents and endeavors. Youth Vibez is a program that tends to highly Youths who are doing wonderful things in Dominica. This is what will be shown here today on BrBpTV. All about promoting real youth doing positive things. Support these young people instead of trying to bring them down. If we encourage the youth to do positive things and reward them the positivity will catch on. After all, the best way to reach out to young people is through other young people because they tend to listen to and associate most of their time with their peers.


Youth Vibez took place on at Dominica Broadcasting Radio Station in Roseau. Here you will find a multi-section of talent from youthful citizens of the Caribbean country, the Commonwealth of Dominica. People say our young people are good for nothings in these day and age, but some are indeed trying to make a change. Give credit to where credit is due. Forward we must press and backward we must never go. Take a listen to what the youths had to say.

First 2011 Gospel Concert in Bawi

As the year ends and the new year begins, many people view it as the starting off, of new things to come. There is the feeling of starting over and putting away bad habits to start afresh. Nothing is wrong with that because at that time, persons try to straighten up their lives and right the wrongs of the previous year. Down with the old and in with new is the usual new year's way of thinking or New Year's Resolution. New aspirations are sketched out and promises are made to be fulfilled by the end of the year. The question is will they keep their promises though? That is the question many people already know the answer to because the promises have already been broken sadly. At least they tried right? Let's just hope the others can still keep the promises that they made to themselves.
Many persons also try to make it right with God for the New Years, so what better way is there than to start off the year with a Gospel Concert. Held on the Salisbury Court in Dominica, God was brought to the fore-front of the stage in praises and worship. As persons tried to seek God's face to guide them through 2011, shouts and joyful noise were given, Caribbean style of course. It is so true that God has seen us through the year of 2010 and now that we are in 2011, what is left to do is to at least show appreciation and thanksgiving unto God for seeing us through. Many persons did not get to see the new year (R.I.P Macneal) so we are greatly in debt for the life that we have been given abundantly so far. Salisbury and neighbouring communities came together to sing praises and celebration unto God and ask for his favours, unwavering love and guidance throughout the new year. It was a celebration even through the blessing of the rainfall. Nothing can stop Dominican people from having a good time under some good powerful music and worship. Thank God for that!

PART 2

This part is all about more good music and a greater feeling of appreciation for something as simple as life. The musicians combined together in satisfaction to the international standards brought about by each respective individual acting as a unit. Notice as well that the crowd follows on in unison with the bands. Beyond definitely stepped out and brought down the court yards while The God Sent Team rocked as if there was no tomorrow. As you continue to watch, it gets even better and it shows that when God is in the midst, everything is possible so give thanks.
