Moving from one standard to the other does indeed take some time. We are gaining more insight about ourselves and finding out where we stand. What better way is there to gain a taste of what Being real and being positive is all about but by interviewing persons on their thoughts on the subject matter. We went around the Ross University School of Medicine's Campus in Dominica and asked different individuals to share their thoughts. Although everyone had the essence of what it meant the mixtures in responses within the interviews was something very interesting to listen to. In Episode 3, as seen below, we took to the streets of Portsmouth, Dominica! Yes, for the second part of our BrBpTV Interviews, we headed down into the community of Portsmouth to do a few street shout-outs to hear what the citizens themselves had to say on the issue at hand. We needed their input especially, seeing that they are the ones we will be working with and showcasing on BrBpTV. After the session of interviews done at the Ross University Campus in Picard, Portsmouth, we have learnt a lot. Part of the message that is being portrayed is that there is no set classification that can be roped around to state that a particular behaviour is real and the other behaviours are not. This begs no question to this clear profound fact. The difference between the similar answers is due to how they viewed it based on their walk and experience through life. There is a song that goes, 'Circumstances made me what I am, for I was never born a violent man...' from Buju Banton. Therefore, realness can be defined as the culture that we were raised in that is tampered by our own true internal perceptions of that culture and what we do with it that defines who we really are. Positivity can be defined as making the best possible decision that would bring the best outcome to ones self as well as the people that surround them in their cultural upbringing.
The interviews still aren't over, so let us take another look into what Be real Be positive means according to the citizens of Dominica in Portsmouth. Heading down to Portsmouth was surrounded with a more in depth and local Caribbean feedback which shed some insight as to how the Caribbean people viewed the terminology on a general standing.
