Dominica Interschool's Sports Day consisted of a number of athletics competitions but what brings us here today is that of the relays. Relay races has always been dear to me since I am also an athlete who ran track back in highschool. I also use to be involved in Interschools as well for the last 2 years of my highschool days so being a part of this brings back memories. The relay races were held in Portsmouth at the Benjamin;s Park and to make it to this level takes nothing but blood, sweat and sometimes even tears. So the athletes you see here today are meant to be there! The Inter School games take place every year and there is indeed great friendly competitions to see which school is the best of the best. Schools like Dominica State College, Goodwill Secondary School, Wesley High School, Convent High School, Castle Bruce Secondary School, Portsmouth Secondary School, Dominica Grammar School, North East Comprehensive School, and other schools around the island represented strong and hard on the track and this is how it went down.
