Let's all admit here... for those who were seriously paying attention to what was going on in the Calypso Arena at the Newtown Savannah in Dominica, we have to give it up to the organizers. After coming from and surviving hurricane Maria and what Dominica went through to get this show ready? Come on... the organizers of the Calypso Committee rose to the occasion so huge respects goes out to you guys.
Now, we bring to you the Calypso Finals result here in Dominica but before you scroll down, I must say, Dominica has the BEST CARIBBEAN Calypso hands down and for these guys to reach to the level that they did? It took a lot of hard work and dedication! As I said in a previous article, we Dominicans take our Calypso and Creole very very seriously and for the other CAribbean Islands that do calypso, they also do a great job but I'm giving it to Dominica based of what i've heard so far.
Today brings us to the day of the Final Calypso Competition that will be held for 2018 and in my books, everyone's a winner; even the former King, who for some reason could not continue his performance but he too was phenomenal in what he showcased.
